Titer Checks

Ad for the TiterChek in Dog Fancy Magazine. Information available at www.synbiotics.com.
In summary, it will do titer checks on parvo and distemper right in your vet's office and takes only fifteen minutes. Titer checks determine the level of a previous vaccine already in the animals system--many conventional veterinarians are not receptive to foregoing vaccines. However, research has zeroed in on the growing concern of the possible correlation between vacccines and cancer.

In almost every state, waivers can be obtained for dogs with cancer whose immune systems are already compromised. A Webpage with vast amount of links re vaccination information can be found here. Remember, vaccination companies only guarantee safety of their product for HEALTHY DOGS. One vet suggest having your vet sign a paper acknowledging this if s/he insists on vaccinating your dog whose system because of cancer obviously is immune compromised.
